The Wife Has Left The Building...
To all of our faithful visitors and cherished readers, a big thank you for being part of the party. It wouldn't have been, well, anything without you.
Last Night An Mp3 Saved My Wife was started as an interesting distraction for 3 co-workers who were more interested in music than their regular office work somewhere in Leeds, UK.
It started at 9am one morning after one of us discovered the joy of mp3 blogs late one night.
After a few months a few more had joined the ranks of contributors from their own remote zones, and the random radio DJs got more random.
That office is closing it's doors and shutting down this week, and despite talk of irregularly random postings it seems so is LNAMp3SMW.
Although there won't be any new posts appearing here, it still stands as a catalogue of tunes that somebody somewhere once called a favourite for a day, and is worth delving into for inspiration for those who didn't travel with us for a year. Unfortunately you will have to fire up whatever file sharing means you have and source the tracks for yourselves now that all is silent. But the initial idea remains... if you come across something that you like, you can still "click to buy" or follow links to artists or other places of interest. (click on the images on the Friday posts for the uninitiated).
Like the punk bands who recorded one single then split up, we bid you farewell after a very enjoyable year of posts. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
And last but by no means least... to all you bloggers that continue to open up and share your love of music with those who care,, good on ya and long may you keep up the good work.
Love and Respect from all at The Wife.
